Control fittings

Valve: It is an important fitting for controlling the flow of fluid in the pipeline. By opening, closing or adjusting the opening of the valve, the fluid can be controlled, the flow rate and pressure can be controlled. For example, in the heating pipeline system, the valve can adjust the flow of hot water and control the indoor temperature; in the fire protection system, the valve can control the supply of fire water to ensure timely spraying of water to extinguish the fire when a fire occurs.

Check valve: Also known as a one-way valve, its function is to prevent the backflow of fluid in the pipeline. A check valve is usually installed on the outlet pipe of the water pump. When the water pump stops running, the check valve automatically closes to prevent water backflow and protect the water pump and pipeline system from damage.

Variator fittings

Reducer: It is used to connect pipes of different diameters to achieve a gradual transition of pipe diameters, so that the fluid can flow smoothly between pipes of different diameters, and reduce the pressure loss and turbulence of the fluid at the pipe diameter change point. For example, in the air conditioning system, the reducer can connect the large diameter of the main pipe with the small diameter of the branch pipe to ensure the smooth transportation of the refrigerant.

Reducing tee: Similar to tee, but its three interface pipe diameters are not exactly the same. It can realize the connection between pipes of different diameters while realizing the branching of pipes. It is often used in the parts of the pipeline system where the pipe diameter and branching need to be changed.

Special pipe fittings

Compensator: Mainly used to compensate for the expansion and contraction of the pipeline caused by temperature changes, pressure changes and other factors, absorb the thermal expansion and cold contraction of the pipeline, and prevent the pipeline from being damaged due to excessive expansion and contraction stress. In thermal pipelines, compensators are indispensable pipe fittings, which can effectively protect the pipeline system and extend the service life of the pipeline.

Filter: Installed in the pipeline system, it is used to filter impurities, particles and other contaminants in the fluid, ensure the cleanliness of the fluid, prevent impurities from entering the equipment or downstream pipelines, and cause wear, blockage and other damage to the equipment. In systems such as hydraulic systems and gas systems that require high fluid cleanliness, filters are important pipe fittings to ensure the normal operation of the system.
